Dolla Gu$h

What's up guys? Today we got some hot new music from a hot, up and coming artist from Texas. He goes by the name of Dollars Gu$h and quite frankly I'd put all my money on this kid. He is going to blow up and you can bet on that. He's coming all the way from Bryan, Texas and has been doing music for 2 years now. You wouldn't be able to tell when you hear his music. Check out interview below:

1. What's your stage name.

"YuΠg Gu$h aka Dollars Gu$h." 2. How long have you been doing music?

"For about 2 years." 3. What inspired you to start making music?

"My brother. He used to produce beats when I was younger."

4. Who do you look up to in the music industry? Why?

"A few a ppl actually. Wiz Khalifa, Gucci Mane, and Jay - Z. Mainly Jay tho kus he really made it out and built a empire. Plus he stays out of the media which is something I fw." 5. Where are you from? What was it like growing up there?

"I'm from Bryan Texas aka The 9. It was kinda kool but boring at the same time. Its a country town so there's not really much to do but it's not to far from the city's (Houston, Austin and Dallas) so I go there on some weekends."

6. What is your ultimate goal making music?

"To make great music that last forever and also put my family in a better position. I got alot of cousins plus a brother and sister so I'm out here tryna make sure they straight." 7. What do you think of the music scene today and what could you contribute to it?

"I really like it. The fact that ppl are jus being themselves with their creativity and not tryna pretend as far as dressing a certain way or tryna put on a character. I mean some ppl still do but for the most part everyone jus does their thing. I feel like I could contribute in a major way. My music doesn't sound like everyone else's plus I haven't even really gotten a chance to really make the sound I want."

8. What are your thoughts on hurricane Harvey and all the other tragedies going on in America right now?

"I really feel for those who lost everything. I hope they can rebuild the same if not better kus I really fw houston. I grew up listening to all the legends... Big Moe, Fat Pat, Pimp C etc.. My prayers go out to all the Houston residents and with the rest of the tragigies my prayers go out as well I jus hope everyone can recoup and have a better start." 9. Do you have any celebrity crushes? If so, who? 👀

"As far as the crushes go I got a couple but ima keep those low key hahaha."

10. Where can the people find your music? (Drop all social media links)

"My music can be found on SoundCloud of course, Datliff, Audiomack, and Youtube. Along with a few videos."

11. Tell us a little about your album. What were the inspiration? What was the process of making it? What's next for you?

"My latest release is titled Gu$hTology. I was a little inspired by the Mac and Devin mixtape by Snoop and Wiz plus I just wanted to do something a little different. The process for this tape was a first. I jus took my time and found a sound I wanted to go with and jus freestyled over the beats. Next I plan on droppin "Gush Radio 2" in a few months maybe in December."
