Just A Teen With A Dream
The city of angels! Los Angeles, CA! This next kid we got with us has been doing music since the age of 17! He is now 19 and with what we've heard, you wouldn't believe it. His talent is out of this world. He goes by the name of Griffin Arons. Definitely a must watch in 2018.
1.) What is my stage name?
"My stage name is Griffin Arons. I felt as though I needed to stay true to myself through the name I would present to the people, through my music. I feel when you have a different name you are hiding unnecessary things about you. I want people to accept me for who I am and I will present myself that way." 2.) How long have I been doing music? "I have been doing music seriously since I was 17 years old, I am 19 years old now. I found a gift in songwriting and helping me cope with situations I was going through. I love every aspect of the creation part of it and seeing where I can take it in the studio." 3.)What inspired you to start making music ? "I've always been a huge fan of music and very interested but as I said I started to get serious about it when I was 17. Justin Bieber, Logic, and Russ have been huge inspirations to me musically. All of them individually have taught me different aspects of myself I didn't know. Justin kickstarted my passion for songwriting and how meaningful it can be. Putting your true heartfelt feelings on a piece of paper and making it come true in a song. You can see that in my record I Lost You(feat.Shawn Eff). Logic also taught me lyrically a variety of things, but aside the music he shows you how to be the man your suppose to be. How staying true to yourself is the most important thing. Never cave in to society and conform to what they want. I want people to love me and my music, for who I am. I want everyone to know how much I love people and how much I would honor my fan base. Lastly Russ has given me the fire and determination to show people anything is possible and how you never take no for a answer. Never let anyone tell you it's to big of a dream or it will never happen. You take those comments and turn it into fire and show them how it's going to happen and make it happen." 4.) Who do you look up to in the music industry? Why? "I look up to the people who stay true to themselves and don't let other people influence them in negative ways. Staying positive and true to yourself. I feel whoever does that in the industry will be successful no matter what." 5.) Where are you from? What was it like growing up there?
"I am from Los Angeles , CA. The best city in the world. I've had a amazing upbringing and have gotten everything I've needed to succeed. I've just wanted to go down a different path and go towards my love. I want to where it takes me and how I can affect people through my music." 6.) What's your ultimate goal in making music? "My ultimate goal in making music is to be the one and only, not one of many. My goal is to be best at what I do and give the people some one to look up to. I want to be more than a artist. I want to be entrepreneur, family man, and man of the people. Everything I do is to inspire myself and ones around me." 7.) What do you think of the music scene today and what could you contribute to it?
"I think hip hop/rap is experiencing a new wave of music and flow. I feel everyone is putting up their own walls and making themselves stand alone by sounding different. I would contribute a new refreshing sound that will get people excited. I would consider myself very lyrical and put as much depth as I can into my music. Really telling a story and making you pay attention to what I am presenting. That's what songwriting is all about to me. Pouring my heart into my music and hoping for the people to like it." 8.)What are your thoughts on the Las Vegas shooting that left 50 or more people dead? "I think it was a awful event that occurred and is something we don't even fathom of thinking about. As a country we need to take action and start making a difference immediately." 9.)Do you any a celebrity crushes if so who? "My celebrity crush is Hailee Steinfeld. I believe she is most gorgeous celebrity out there, inside and out. I love her music and the way she presents herself to the people. She has done a amazing job in the Pitch Perfect movies and I hope she has much continued success with movie making. She seems like a amazing person, that I would love to meet one day. I would also love to collab with her on a song." 10.) Where can the people find your music. SoundCloud: Griffin Arons Apple Music Spotify YouTube
