Meet MAJESTIC 🎶⚡️💕

WOW! We have NEVER interviewed someone from Canada. This next artist we have with us is such a beautiful soul. When you hear about Canadian artist you usually think of Drake, Justin Bieber, Nav, etc. You NEVER really hear about female singers, but this young lady is about to knock down the doors in 2018. She goes by the name of "Majestic" and her story is just powerful. It's hard to find a super talented artist that knows they're talented, but yet still humble. Majestic is one of those artist. She has a deep passion and love for the music. You should DEFINITELY be on the look out for her in 2018. Great things will happen for her and you heard it here first.

INTERVIEW BELOW:

1. What's your stage name?

“MAJESTIC. My older sister has a clothing line called Majestic Wisdom and I loved the word “Majestic” so much that I asked her if I could use it as my artist name. Everything about me is MAJESTIC and it perfectly describes who I am as a person and as an artist.” 2. How long have you been doing music?

“I've been performing and singing ever since I was 5 years old. I used to take part in every school talent show, fundraiser or event. I would always be the first person to sign up because singing is what I love. I got really serious about music about 6 years ago when I decided that it is something I can see myself doing for the rest of my life.” 3. What inspired you to start making music?

“I think the effect that music has on others is what really inspired me to start making music. My mom is a singer and always used to sing around the house. She was the person that gave me that first real push to start making music and taking it seriously. She actually had her own choir where I would sing and help direct. When I was about 14 years old, she signed my siblings and I up for a performing arts company called The Toronto ’s Children Concert Choir and Performing Arts Company (TC3). This is an amazing organization that works to promote success and alleviate poverty through the arts and academics. This is the place where I found out the type of artist I wanted to be and how I wanted to use my voice.” 4. Who do you look up to in the music industry? Why?

"I love a lot of people in the industry but some trailblazers that I look up to are the late Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Lauryn Hill. I love everything they've brought to the industry. I've also been strongly influenced by artists of my generation, particularly Jhené Aiko, Jessie J, Alicia Keys, and Emeli Sande. They all have their own unique sound and style, which allows fans to connect with them a personal level." 5. Where are you from? What was it like growing up there?

"I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada!! Currently, I live in Scarborough, Ontario (which is the East end on Toronto.) I grew up in a neighbourhood called Chester Le and later moved to a neighbourhood called Galloway. Growing in Toronto was the best because it gave me the opportunity to meet so many different people with so many different talents and stories." 6. What is your ultimate goal making music?

“I think my ultimate goal when making music is to create something that will have a long lasting influence on people. I make music that makes people feel and think about a wide variety of topics and I think that intelligent music is something that we could all benefit from.” 7. What do you think of the music scene today and what could you contribute to it?

“I love what's going on in the music scene today. There are so many artists that are coming up, killing it and getting the recognition they deserve! Music has changed so much over the past few years and I think that it's only going up from here. My technique and outlook on music is something I think I could contribute to the scene. I am an R&B/Soul artist and I think that I can bring a new vibe to the genre.” 8. What are your thoughts on Trump?

“As you know I’m Canadian. I haven't been following the news recently but all I can say from my point of view is that since Trump’s been in office, things in the U.S have just been going downhill.” 9. Do you have any celebrity crushes? If so, who? 👀

“YES! Jhené Aiko is my favourite of all time! I love her so much from her Sailing Souls days to now. She puts her entire self into the music and that's what I love about her.” 10. Where can the people find your music? (Drop all social media links)

“As of now, I only have one song out which is my debut single, Without You x P80! It is available on all streaming sites. To stay posted on new music people can follow me on SoundCloud, Instagram, Twitter, & FaceBook.” "Without You” SoundCloud link: https://soundcloud.com/majesticaa/without-you-prod-pdub-the-producer Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_onlymajestic/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/_onlymajestic FaceBook: https://www.facebook.com/onlymajestic/ SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/majesticaa 11.
