Who is KobeJamesJordan 🎶🔥😈

When you think of Cleveland, Ohio and it’s music scene, you most likely think of kid cudi, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Souljaboy, etc. True talented artists who used their talents to make it out of the city. This next artist goes by the name of KobeJamesJordan. Notice how he’s named after the greats? That’s because he is one himself. KJJ hopes to be a 2018 XXL Freshman. This is the next big thing out of Ohio. 

1. What's your stage name. 

“Kobejamesjordan” 2. How long have you been doing music?

“Music has always been apart of my life since I can remember. Me and my brother used to call my mom and dad cell phone just to rap on the voicemail so we could hear ourselves. I started taking music serious around 2012.” 3. What inspired you to start making music? 

“Listening to artists such as Bone Thugs & Harmony, Kid Cudi, and Chip the Ripper inspired me at a young age.”

4. Who do you look up to in the music industry? Why? 

“One person I look up to in the music industry is my cousin Yonni. He's a 2 time grammy nominated producer/mixer. Seeing that he came from the same place I am from it gave me inspiration that I can make it too. Far as artists I look up to in the music industry, definitely Drake, Lil Wayne, and Kid Cudi. I enjoy listening to artist that can adapt their style to different vibes. Those are my top 3.”

5. Where are you from? What was it like growing up there? 

“I'm from Cleveland, OH. Growing up in Cleveland was tough because you are exposed to many different circumstances/situations to go down the wrong path. You have to be mentally tough growing up in Cleveland because if you're not you will lose focus quickly.” 6. What is your ultimate goal making music? 

“My ultimate goal is to use my gift to help and influence those around me. Making music is an outlet for me. It's a way to express myself, my thoughts and creativity.” 7. What do you think of the music scene today and what could you contribute to it? 

“The music scene is probably the most diverse that I can remember. So, the music scene is pretty much wide open. I think listeners are more open to different styles of music now days. That's where I can contribute. I think i'm very versatile with my music which can gain exposure to different types of audiences/listeners.” 8. What are your thoughts on Trump? 

“I'll pass.”
