Getting To Know Private Mac šŸŽ¹šŸ”„šŸš€

When you think about the music scene in New Jersey you instantly think of the icons. Joe Budden, Lauryn Hill, Sugar Hill Gang, Juelz Santana, and many more. Jersey has birthed some of the greatest musicians to walk this earth. This next guy just may be another legend. He goes by the name of ā€œPrivate Macā€ and let me tell you, DOPE! His music is authentic. For those of you who think ā€œHiphop is deadā€ may want to reconsider, because Private Mac has something to say in 2018. šŸš€šŸš€šŸš€

1. What's your stage name.

āļøĀ I go by Private Mac 2. How long have you been doing music?

āļøĀ Iā€™ve been creating music since 2012 but I wasnā€™t able to gain resource towards a studio until 2015. 3. What inspired you to start making music?

āļøĀ Iā€™ve gained many influences as a young emcee but I wouldnā€™t say that I was inspired, Iā€™d say that many people have fed my influence towards me having my own stylistic. But If you ask me ? I, myself inspire me. 4. Who do you look up to in the music industry? Why?

āļøĀ I look up to God and MYSELF. Thatā€™s no disrespect to anyone in the game right now, thatā€™s just how I maneuver. 5. Where are you from? What was it like growing up there?

āļøĀ Iā€™m from Newark, New Jersey. Life in Newark wasnā€™t really your average place. Despite the crime waves and homicidal reputation that my city has. Specially with me seeing certain things at such a young age, itā€™s not always pretty. 6. What is your ultimate goal making music?

āļøĀ The goal beneath all of the benefits of excelling with my music is longevity, love, and liberty. I donā€™t think many would comprehend the way that my mentality is set up. I donā€™t wake up everyday knowing that I do this for the millions, mansions, Maseratiā€™s. I wake up knowing that my music is a reflection of who I am. I take pride and passion when I grab the pen. 7. What do you think of the music scene today and what could you contribute to it?

āļøĀ Honestly ? I strongly believe that thereā€™s not much substance and volume within the music of today. The condoning of illiterate shit seems to be the wave. My contribution ? Nothing but authenticity and purity. The art of emceeing means so much to me and Iā€™d be damned to let this generation poison minds with this b.s.

8. What are your thoughts on Trump?

āļøĀ I donā€™t have a hatred nor a disliking towards the man, I just donā€™t support nor condone the things that heā€™s done. I canā€™t say much on the Donald, a piece of shit if you ask me. 9. Do you have any celebrity crushes? If so, who?

āļøĀ I donā€™t really have any, thereā€™s gorgeous women out there though. No doubt in that. 10. Where can the people find your music? (Drop all social media links)

āļøĀ You can find majority of my music at Soundcloud.com/soulrhythmrecordings , Datpiff.com/realpvtmac , and Spinrilla.com/prviatemac97 . I have two EPā€™s that are currently out now; ā€œBEFORE TWENTYā€ - EP, & ā€œThe Side Aā€ - EP. Make sure you guys go check those joints out. My new project is set to drop next year, titled: ā€œBuy My Art, Not Cocaineā€.Ā  11. As the new year approaches, where do you see yourself in 2018?

āļøBigger platforms, enormous blessings, elevation,Ā experience, andĀ excellence the right way. WithĀ legitimate purpose as well, as of late things for meĀ personally have been fucked up but Iā€™ve learned to move forward in this course of life. Iā€™m looking to seek for more self- health next year, more sanity, more progression. As long as I keep my persistence in tact and my focus right, thereā€™s NOTHING stopping me but MYSELF. Ā I say this with theĀ grace of God.Ā
