Dre;Creez 🎰
This next artist is honestly one the dopest artist we’ve had the opportunity of working with so far in 2018! He has that chill, dope, J COLE vibe to his flow. His single, “Old Ways” was in a perfect example. He targets the female audience. Amazing song by the way. He goes by the name of Dre;Creez. He is from Los Angeles, California. City of angels! City where stars are made. Creez is on our list of highly anticipated artist to blow in 2018.
What's your stage name(s).
🎰My stage name is Dre;Creez. Spelled just like that. Semicolon included. I use the semicolon in my name because i feel like Dre & Creez are two different people but go hand in hand. Creez is more of an alter-ego that takes over during a show, at the function, or in a recording session. I use the semicolon in my name how you would use it in a sentence, combining 2 independent clauses but, instead of those clauses being 2 SENTENCES that can stand on their own, its 2 BEINGS who can stand on their own. Dre & Creez. Dre;Creez. 2. How long have you been doing music?
🎰I've been making music consistently for about 3 going on 4 years now . Its kind of hard to pin point the time elapsed because in this music business, time flies. The only way i really gauge how long I've been at it is to go back & hear some of my early work. I just sit there like, " DAMN i used to sound like that?!" The growth is astounding. 3. What inspired you to start making music?
🎰One day my brother Nick had came over he just had a rough day at work. I had been having a tough time for a while. Just lil shit like having trouble findin a job. Then when i would find a job it was always a hassle to keep them because they were warehouse temp jobs.. & yall know how that go.. But i had been writing lil raps in my notebook to diffferent instrumentals during that whole little tough span. I ended up showing Nick the rhymes I had in my book and he was like, "YO! we gotta get you in the studio! that shit was hard!" & you know he gassed me up! He was also making good money at the time so he offered to put up the money to get me in the studio. After that first session it was a wrap. I just fell in love with the craft. Hearing and seeing words i wrote on them papers come to life was a creativ feeling I hadn't felt since i was a child. Ever since that day we've been going strong. 4. Who do you look up to in the music industry? Why?
🎰I look up to a few guys in the industry. All west coast artists suvh as Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, & Dj Mustard; but Nipsey Hussle is hands down someone I look up to the most. I admire the way he literally got his shit off the curb. Plotted & executed perfectly. Got his weight up in the game so he could be able to form a partnership with Atlantic Records, instead of a traditional record deal. Thats leverage. 5. Where are you from? What was it like growing up there?
🎰I'm from LA through & through. I was raised in South Central On Western & 36pl. Just a few blocks away from USC, but i grew up in Cudahy. A small 6 block city in SouthEast LA. My family moved to Cudahy when i was 11, but i still went to middle school in LA until i was 13. I didnt really start experiencing the city of Bell (or "BellTown" as we call it) until i started 9th grade at Bell High. Growing up in Cudahy was different for me. Coming from South Central where its a solid mix of black & hispanic students; to Southeast LA, a predominantly hispanic area. It was a bit of a culture shock to be honest with you. Everybody talked different, dressed different, was into different things than i was at the time. The jerkin movement was really hittin hard in LA in '09 but in SouthEast LA a different dance dance called shuffling was popular. so i just stood out offtops. But when i got adjusted it was really cool. Mostly all my bros & my homegirls are hispanic. The guys you see me rollin with wherever im at are most likely gonna be hispanic and they all with the turn ups. 6. What is your ultimate goal making music?
🎰My ultimate goal making music is to make timeless records. I want to make songs that people are gonna feel for generations to come. Feel Good Music, Turn Up Music, Concious Music, R&B. Everything. I dont want to limit myself to just one type of vibe or sound. But im not just doing it for me, If i hit in this music, Im gonna rebuild my whole family & put us in a better position. 7. What do you think of the music scene today and what could you contribute to it?
🎰Honestly i have a love-hate relationship with where the game is right now & thats coming from a young nigga. I'm 22 and I just believe at the end of the day real music that holds substance is what's gonna outlast every trend that comes and goes. The game is constantly changing. Hip Hop is in a phase right now. I feel alot of artists I know are ahead of their time right now & its being overlooked. I feel i could contribute alot to the music scene. I bring a whole new side of LA that alot of people who live in LA have never been exposed to before & i represent it authentically. I bring quality music with concepts, lyrics, & flows that can be appreciated by the listener. Im the X-factor. 8. What are your thoughts on Trump?
🎰FUCK DONALD TRUMP. *YG VOICE 9. Do you have any celebrity crushes? If so, who?
🎰Oh yall done went here huh? hahaha maaan.. I love Scarlett Johansson. Thats a baaadd white woman. Eva Mendes fine ass and to round it out ima have to go with Teanna Trump hahaha! I dont even gotta say much after that haha. 10. Where can the people find your music? (Drop all social media links)
As of right now people can stream my latest single "Old Ways" on Reverb Nation

🎰In 2018, I see myself having a breakout year to my own standards. I have songs tucked away from years ago that are crazy and you know the grind dont stop so im always working on new material. I'll have a few projects dropping this year on all major streaming outets so im pretty excited to get it to the people. I know my city been waiting. Its been a long time coming.
